Beyond Basic ESL

Durham Tech offers core classes in Reading/Writing, Listening/Speaking, and Grammar, to teach the fundamentals of US English to internationals who wish to improve their English skills. These classes are designed for those who already have a basic understanding of English and/or have already studied English either in the US or another country. The classes also work well for students who have finished the basic ESL program or for those whose test scores are higher than the most advanced-level of free ESL classes. Learn more about the course levels on the program structure web page.

Spring Semester 2019 courses run January 14–April 18 (Register by January 11).
Inclement weather make-up days: March 4–9
