Nurse Aide Courses and Programs

nursing student in training There are many paths to complete the Nurse Aide I course. In addition to the traditional Nurse Aide I (NA I) classes, the Nurse Aide program offers several options for training specific student populations.

The hybrid course is for students who are independent learners with excellent time management and computer skills.

The fast-track course is designed for students with previous patient/health care experience or those entering a nursing or other health care education program. It is designed for students looking to make a career change and students who are available to attend classes four days a week.

If you plan to further your nursing education, consider the credit diploma, which may be applied towards the Associate Degree Nursing program.

From recent graduate Maggie Becker:

"I would like to let you know how much I benefitted from my CNA program. Megan was a great instructor and I have been able to be successful thus far in my career as a NA. I will begin working at UNC come January (with Megan actually) and I couldn't be more excited. Thank you for everything you've done for the CNA program, it has made a wonderful impact on my life."
