Upholstery Sewing for Home Decorating

This course is a workshop-type setting that covers how to sew upholstery projects for the home. Students learn to make window valances, roman shades, throw pillows, and cushions. Students must have some basic sewing skills and a sewing machine. Cost of supplies depends on the project chosen. 24 hours. $99 (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.)

Basic Upholstery

This course covers the basics of furniture upholstery for students with basic sewing skills. Students learn about fabrics and how to cover chairs, and footstools. Cost of materials depends on the project chosen. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 24 hours. $100.25

Intermediate Upholstery

This course covers furniture upholstery for more complicated sofas and chairs, and is for students who have already completed the Basic Upholstery course. Students learn how to repair and upholster using channel backs and button tufting. Cost of materials depends on the projects chosen. 24 hours. $99 (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.)
