Course Selection Guides

Course Selection Guides offer college- and major-specific pathways for obtaining the associate’s degree and preparing for courses in the major after transferring to a specific four-year university. They are based on the AA/AS Plan of Study and are developed using Baccalaureate Degree Plans and major requirements provided by the four-year universities. If you are interested in a major that is not listed here, or you plan to transfer to a university that is not listed on the course selection guide, use the Baccalaureate Degree Plan and degree requirements provided by the four-year university. Please note that four-year universities do change their requirements without notice to us. It’s up to you to check with the four-year university to be sure you are following the most up-to-date plan.

Pre-Professional programs are selected as a second program to accompany any primary major of the student’s choosing. If you select a pre-professional program, you should also select an accompanying major. For example: A student who selects the secondary program of Pre-Medicine, might also select a major in biology or chemistry or physics.
